These are just a few things that come to mind but I’ll keep adding to this list. What would you add to this list?

1. Brings clarity of mind

Bring clarity and perspective in difficult times. It trains us to be able to stand back and be the witness.

2. Promotes good health and happiness

3. Reduces stress

A regular meditation practice can reduce stress and stress related ailments and disease such as high blood pressure, heart disease and cancers.

4. Improves concentration

It’s the nature of the  mind to ‘think’. During meditation, we constantly have to bring the mind back to the object of meditation. This develops the part of the brain responsible

5. Develops Awareness

Provides a path to intuitive knowledge or a universal intelligence
