We have 2 cosy self-catering wooden lodges.

Willow has 4 bedrooms; 1 double, a single, a twin and a bunk room and can comfortably sleep up to 6 people suitable for a family or a 4-5 friends sharing.

Bramble has 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles and a single room sleeping up to 5.

The lodges, unlike our smaller off-grid cabins, are connected to mains electricity with their own kitchens and bathrooms.

Check out our prices here. Generous discounts are applied for those staying more than 3 nights or more. We save money when guests stay longer and we pass the savings to you!

Willow lodge is located in our quiet orchard area with a deck and fire pit.

The lodge has a kitchen, bathroom, and living area which is full of light, with 4 bedrooms featuring a double, a twin, a bunk room, and a single. Comfortably sleeps up to 6.

Perfect year-round for a holiday or short break.

bramble lodge

Our latest addition is the Bramble lodge, located in our quiet orchard area alongside its sister lodge, Willow, with a deck and fire pit.

This lodge has a kitchen and living area with 3 bedrooms featuring 2 doubles and a single room. Comfortably sleeps up to 5. The lodge is fully self-catering with its own kitchen and bathroom.

Many will have heard of the large number of breaching basking sharks off Loop Head, Co Clare. We have recorded 48 breaches in 2 hours on Thursday evening and 85 in three hours today (Friday). If out on a boat we advise you to be very cautious, the risk of a basking shark landing on your boat is moderate. We have no evidence that sharks are aware of boats on the surface prior to breaching so boat users - beware. Breaching at this time of year is associated with courting, and we have filmed torus activity around these breaches. Again boat users need to be aware that there are possibly hundreds of sharks just below the surface which you cannot see so please motor slowly and if there are fins on the surface give them space.Image courtesy of John Glynn ...
