Kevin and Trea are fantastic hosts and can be proud of all their work on this lovely site. There’s such a lovely vibe on the site and you can see everyone enjoying themselves.
We stayed in our own tent (first time). Although you can’t drive your car up the your pitch, there are wheelbarrows / trolleys available to cart your stuff down. It allowed for a much better experience not having cars moving about and no doubt was great for parents of small kids.
Children really enjoying running about and there’s a big ‘dome’ play area they can go nuts in should it rain 🙂
The shower / toilet facilities were spotlessly clean.
It was fantastic to have sink / cooker kitchen facilities available in the covered area. They also let use use a communal fridges in the reception area which was a great help!
You can choose to either camp in the open area close to all the facilities or be more adventurous and have a ‘wilderness’ pitch, which is right in the woods nearby.
Trea does yoga classes some of the mornings which are worth checking out, even if you’re new to yoga.
There are bell tents available along with an eco tent, and those who stayed in them seemed very happy with their choice.
I never expected to have a place like this in Ireland, and was delighted to find it.
It really is a gateway to the beautiful scenery of the Loop Head Peninsula.
Although we used this as a ‘trial run’ before a longer stay in France, this surpassed all expectations and we can’t wait to return.
Eco Glamping site (formally known as Purecamping) with Yoga set in the small village of Querrin on the Loop Head Peninsula. Visit www.purespace.ie to book a spot or ring 086 3819216.
